Our Treatment Method
We start by thoroughly vacuuming the affected area. This physically removes large numbers of bedbugs and eggs immediately, reducing the population before any treatment product is even applied.
We then combine dry steam heat treatment with professional-grade insecticide. A two-stage IPM approach that eliminates bedbugs at every life stage. Steam kills on contact, the chemical follow-up provides residual protection. More effective than either method alone, and safer for your home than chemical-only treatments.
Steam alone can miss eggs tucked into cracks and seams it doesn’t fully reach, and chemical alone can leave adult bugs in places spray doesn’t penetrate. Using both together closes that gap, which is why we don’t rely on just one method.
We also apply a long-lasting residual powder in cracks, voids and other hard-to-reach spots. Unlike spray, it keeps working for months, catching any bugs that emerge after the main treatment is done.
For severe infestations requiring full room heat treatment, we work with specialist partners to deliver a complete solution.
Inspection & Monitoring
Not sure if you have bedbugs? We carry out thorough inspections to confirm the problem before any treatment begins.
We always carry out two treatments. Steam can kill eggs on contact, but it can’t always reach every egg tucked into cracks and seams, and the chemical treatment doesn’t kill eggs at all. We leave monitors in place to track activity, then carry out a second treatment timed to catch any eggs that have hatched, before they reach adulthood and start laying more eggs.
If activity continues beyond the second treatment, we return at no additional cost.
