1. General
BedBugs2Go is a specialist bedbug treatment service operated by Pest2Go, based in Northampton. By booking a survey or treatment with us you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Surveys
Surveys are free when treatment is booked. For properties outside our primary coverage zone a travel charge may apply, which is fully deducted from your treatment cost if you proceed. We will confirm any travel charges before your survey appointment.
3. Treatment Programme
Our standard treatment programme includes a minimum of two visits approximately two weeks apart. The first visit carries out the primary treatment. The second visit addresses any newly hatched eggs and confirms progress.
In rare cases where bedbug populations show resistance to standard insecticides, alternative treatment methods may be required. We will advise you promptly if this appears to be the case and discuss the best course of action.
4. Preparation
Clients must follow our preparation checklist prior to treatment. The checklist will be provided when your appointment is confirmed. If the property is not adequately prepared when we arrive, treatment may not proceed and a call-out fee of £80 will apply.
5. Guarantee
If bedbug activity continues after your second treatment visit, we will return for an additional visit at no extra charge, subject to the following conditions:
- The property was adequately prepared prior to both treatment visits
- The preparation checklist was followed correctly
- No new infestation has been introduced from outside the property
- The property has not been reinfested from a neighbouring property
Please note that bedbug populations can develop resistance to certain insecticides over time. Where standard chemical treatment is ineffective due to resistance, we will discuss alternative treatment options including steam or heat treatment approaches. Resistance does not void our commitment to resolving your infestation but may require a change in treatment method and could affect pricing.
6. Neighbouring Properties
In terraced houses, semi-detached properties, flats, HMOs and other multi-occupancy buildings, bedbugs can travel between neighbouring properties through walls, flooring, pipe runs and electrical conduits. Where reinfestation occurs despite successful treatment, this may indicate an active infestation in an adjacent property beyond our control. In such cases we will advise on next steps but cannot be held responsible for reinfestation from neighbouring properties. We recommend informing your landlord, letting agent or neighbours if reinfestation from an adjacent property is suspected.
7. Pricing
Our pricing is based on property size and infestation severity and will be confirmed at survey stage. Prices quoted are for the full treatment programme unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the extent of the infestation is significantly greater than initially assessed.
8. Payment
A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. The deposit amount will be advised at time of booking. The remaining balance is due on completion of the first treatment visit unless otherwise agreed.
9. Cancellations
- More than 48 hours notice – free cancellation, deposit refunded in full
- 24 to 48 hours notice – 50% of deposit retained
- Less than 24 hours notice – full deposit retained
- No show – full treatment cost charged
10. Call-out Fee
A call-out fee of £80 applies where we attend a property and treatment cannot proceed due to inadequate preparation, incorrect address provided, or access issues beyond our control.
11. Liability
BedBugs2Go carries full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment programme. We are not liable for any consequential loss, damage to property caused by failure to follow preparation instructions, or reinfestation from neighbouring properties.
12. Data Protection
Any personal data provided when booking or enquiring will be held securely and used only for the purpose of delivering our service. We will not share your data with third parties. 13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service please contact us directly at matt@bedbugs2go.co.uk. We will respond within 2 working days and work to resolve any issues promptly.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The current version will always be available on our website.
